How it works: Nerve glides are designed to mobilize the nerve through the nervous system. Nerve glides should be integrated slowly into an exercise program as to not irritate an already sensitive nervous system. Begin with low repetitions to assess patient response. Emphasis at ankle mobilizes the nervous system at the ankle and helps clear any potential restrictions.
REPS: Nerve glides should be performed in low doses – 1-3 sets per day, 5-10 reps
