
Appropriate for patient with Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), Stenosis, severe arthritic changes, Spondylolisthesis and later stages of a muscle strain. See the specifics in the tabs below.
Patients should perform this exercise if they have pain in standing and get relief in sitting and can sit for as long as they like without increase pain.
How it works: Once the muscle has calmed down, flexing the spine forward will gently stretch the strained muscle and improve overall function.
REPS: 2-4 for 15-30 seconds every 1-5 hours

How it works: Drawing the knees to the chest flexes the hip which draws the spine into flexion relieving pressure on the affected area of the spine.
